The Grace Episcopal Church Choir is unique as is the music repertory of the Episcopal Church which consists of music from early chant to the present day from composers of many nationalities. Christian worship has always been offered in the best prevailing circumstances (as do other faiths) and offerings include architecture, art and art music. We program the best repertory that is practical for us.
Further, we are fortunate to have a fine pipe organ and we appreciate both of our excellent organists, currently Tim Lewis, and the many years with Kristi Koriath.
There are no paid members of the choir and there are no attendance regulations. It would be impossible to have the latter because of the schedules of our choir members who have performance or other duties elsewhere. We know who is going to sing to the service when we finish practice on Sunday morning. Where there is the need for assistance, the choir has offered a sum for services to recommended students. This allows for an outlet to repertory often new to those students and the hope that they will continue with it. Interested singers are welcome!
We appreciate the support from those in the congregation and also thank them for the many offerings they bring to the church.
