The Order of Daughters of the King
At Grace Church Parish, you will find an active chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King® (DOK). The Grace chapter is affiliated with the international religious order of women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it and churches who are in the historic Episcopate. Today our membership includes women in the Anglican, Episcopal, Lutheran (ELCA) and Roman Catholic churches.
The Order of the Daughters of the King® (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives.
One of the projects of the Grace chapter is through a partnership with A Better Way women's shelter in Muncie. Together with Grace Church, the DOK each month coordinates with A Better Way to provide needed supplies. A Better Way's clients' needs may include personal items, school supplies, paper products, etc. As individuals, members of the chapter also actively support many programs within the community.
The Grace chapter is dedicated to prayer, service and personal evangelism. The sisterhood of women meets twice a month, for a breakfast social and for a fellowship meeting.
